Question linuxdcpp is unable to search or download.


i have successfully installed linuxdcpp on fedora 8 and also connected to the hubs,it is showing users also but when i try to search it shows nothing or try to get file list it shows connection timeout after sometime...please any one tell me what is the problem and what is the solution.

Hey...This might be the problem with the firewall...
I solved the same problem as follows:-

1.go to your linuxdcpp settings and connection settings and check manual port forwarding and put your external IP.
2.If you choose non standard ports , you may add them to your trusted port in your firewall..(system->administration->firewall)

I suggest you to use non standard ports for tcp and udp....
