linux won't boot from 2'nd hard disk
i used PM 8 to install linux mandrake on my 2'nd hard disk wich is a 40 gig seagate and is set as a slave .The master hard disk is a 120 samsung partitioned in 3 :C as active primary ,D logical ,E logical and xp pro installed in C.On the 2'nd hdd i have 3 partitions :linux ext2 36 gig set as primary .linux swap 478 meg primary and a fat32 where the boot magic is installed set as primary .Now my problem is that i cannot set linux primary partition as active and i think thats the main reason why linux wont boot .First time after instalation linux booted with no problem asking with wich Os to boot but after restarting with xp and using boot magic configuration to add linux to the boot menu linux wont load at reboot ,it keeps on showing ''preparing machine to load linux ...'' but nothing is happening .I realy apreciate if somebody can help me .
