Linux vhs to dvd conversion using Roxio Converter

Hello Linux fans,

I have swapped over from Vista Home Premium to Mint 7 and find it the easiest to get working.
However I have the Roxio Creator SE 2009 with the 'dongle/converter'.
Which software from the Linux stable do I need please ?

Assuming that the dongle is meant to run under Windows, I would say that you will not be able to run it on Linux directly. Maybe within a virtual system like VMware, but even there you might run into problems with the dongle.
