Linux version of Outlook express


Hello everybody,

I'm a Linux newbie, I need help!. Is there a version of Outlook express that is Linux based.

Nope, but Evolution is much better replacement for Outlook anyway

The simple answer is NO.

You could try to search on
http://www.google.com/linux
for outlook and wine ...

It might work with wine, if it
doesn't, maybe codeweavers
cross-office does ...

Or use a Linux pendant, like
evolution....

It seems like outlook clone.

I'd say go with Evolution also. I use Outlook at work and Evolution at home and I prefer Evolution. The latest version starts fast as hell, you can still use rules and filters and it's not M$, so you know it won't crash.

You can't replace Outlook in linux....nothing in linux does what outlook does.

I mean, none of the clients spread macro viruses and create havoc on networks...oh wait a minute...

Think of it as upgrading rather than replacing

I'd say go with Evolution...I love 1.4, works very well.
