Linux Version of Adobe Premiere
 

I always used Adobe Premiere with firewire to connect to my Panasonic NV-GX7b camcorder.

Now I've made the switch to SuSE 9.1 I have two questions.

1. Will the camcorder connect via firewire under linux?

2. If so, is there a half decent video editing suite out there for linux?
