Linux Text Editor
I downloaded a LFS.txt file...so I could start reading up on linux...
Now I cant seem to find a command line text editor to view or print the file. Also..what man pages or tools should I use to install a printer? Im using Linux RedHat 6.2 (i386)... thanks...Im psyched to learn linux...been into MSFT for so long and used to GUI any help appreciated...thanks |
you can use:
cat more vi - if you want to maybe edit the file and many more... man cat - for more details in options same goes for the others if you use them. -trickykid can't help with the printer stuff, don't have a printer, haven't ever messed with configuring one in ( ironically ) linux either.. :D |
