Linux Starter Guide-totally free!

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
The Linux Starter Guide is a totally free, downloadable, comprehensive, 130 page guide to Linux, produced by Linux Format magazine.

http://www.tuxradar.com/linuxstarterpack

http://www.linuxformat.co.uk/modules...ewtopic&t=9683

The Linux Starter Guide is designed for:

1)Windows users who wish to learn about Linux.
2)Inexperienced Linux users who wish to learn more about Linux.
3)Experienced Linux users who would like to help their Windows-using friends or colleagues learn about Linux, but just do not have the time.

@Mods,
Is there any chance of duplicating this post or the LSG link on an additional “sticky” in a suitably prominent position (or in the Wiki) because this post will eventually drift down the LQ pages?

Thanks,
beachboy2

A great guide for starters. Anyone who comes here looking for answers to questions like "Can anyone point me to direction to learn Linux?" or "I am a windows user planning to switch where to start?" should look into it read through the guide.
