microsoft stuff?
If you mean a graphical user interface, run 'xwmconfig', then run 'startx'

what do i have to answer then when i ve got to insert
darkstar login

darkstar is just the machine name by default if you didnt give one to it during install (remember when it asked for a domain?) its just a login though, if you just installed, just type in root and then your root password, then make a new user. That should be all

Then run these:
xf86config
xwmconfig
startx
They configure & run the graphics.

most of that is autoconfigured in slack 9.1, although it does help to run them if you need to install some graphics drivers after install.

9.1 takes care of most everything. It's actually a very easy install. My biggest issue was deciding how to chop up the HD.
