Linux server spitt's out my "include" files

8 hours trying to resolve this one......

I have installed phpnews...no problem, however,as with any php script that requires that I add an "include" to my web page..I have the same problem as now.....the server uploads the file and removes the include statement.

I,m using a VPS server and my OS:CentOS Linux 4.4

I'm not sure I follow: are you saying that the files get
modified in the upload process in such a manner that lines
with an include statement get stripped?

Cheers,
