linux puppy installation problem

I am having a problem installing a bare bones Linux Puppy. The installation starts fine and displays about 40 lines of information and then locks up. The last two lines of info are "SCSI Subsystem Initialized" and "PCI Probing PCI Hardware". The computer is a 486 Windows 95 with 32 meg.

Yea I had the same problem with this about 2 weeks ago. Every thing worked out when I removed an unnecessary sounds card from the machine. It seemed to work fine after doing that and is still working real good and fine. But I will need to find an other sound card that is supported.
