well your squid.out file is no use here, there's clearly nothing negative in that log. What is actually happening from the client perspective? What is in the access_log and error_log files?

Thanx for your kind attention towards my problem.

access.log file is empty and /var/log/squid directory does not contain any error log file ....
further more...
when i am accessing it from client my browser is showing the followings....

"The server at www.gmail.com is taking too long time to respond."
"The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply."

thanx again

Did you check if the internet is working on the squid server itself? Have you configured your squid to be transparent proxy or you configure the browser at clients to connect through the proxy?

Just asking a couple of dumb qns here:

1."Note that the file is parsed from top to bottom. Thus, if you are attempting to allow other acls, place the
http_access line before the http_access deny all entry."
Can't tell from your post if you've allowed for this.
2. Can you double check the clients are using port 3128
