Linux NTFS mount on RED HAT 8.0

Hello guys. I am brand new to the world of Linux and i just got done setting up a linux duel boot with windows xp pro. I am having difficulty mounting my NTFS 5.0 partion to Linux. I tried several sites and a book, and not one of them explained it well enough that a newb such as my self could understand. COuld someone please explain in a simple manner how to do this step by step. I dont know much, as i have only had it for about 3 days.

there have been a lot of simple explanations given out on here recently, have a search if you haven't already.
