Greetingz!

You might want to check the MD5 or SHA1 sum of the ISO you downloaded & burned.
Try reading the entire CD/DVD you burned on another computer "dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/dev/null" (Note that you might have something other than /dev/cdrom for the CD/DVD drive)

ok i get it. i checked md5 sum when i downloaded using the DownThemAll addon for firefox and it said that the checksum was wrong but i thought it was only me that typed it wrong in the box. and also i thought that checking it through vb would help and in virtualbox it worked usually if download is corrupted it wont work

can you help me download only the RELNOTES-6.3.1 only because i really have a slow internet and i can't afford to spend other 8 hours to download the whole thing only for a @#@$% corrupted file.

ok nevernmind i somehow managed to fix my iso so that now the md5sums are exact with the ones on mint site...

(for other poor users like me i just got the torrent file for my download and pointed it to my corrupted file and then i left it to download the few mB that downthemall didn't download an then i checked md5sum again and it's the same as on the site. i'm going to be seeding it for other poor users just like me.. i'm not a mean person (but that's why i don't kinda like torrent that i have to reupload what i download))

Hello again!

Well that's the nice thing about torrent; you don't have to spend forever downloading something...as long as it's popular.
Also, you can leave a torrent "seeding" after you've completed the download. Most torrent clients have a configurable "seeding" speed, so even if you set it to 1kb or 2kb per second, you're still *really* helping out people who get stuck (like you did).

I'm glad your problem was taken care of!
