Hi
I have loaded linux mint isadora from a cd

giving all the information requested but on trying to boot

there is space for the name space for the password but no icon to log
on can I use a command to log if so what would it be

Greetingz!
Mint's desktop defaults to whatever user name you specified during the installation. Just type the password and you should be good to go!

Oh when you login you have to put name in and password

I just checked and after I had put name and password now mine is automatic login.

I loaded wrong 1 You have to put name in first time you login

Thanks for the replies I have the same screen as your second
one but when I put my password in nothing happens

How can I check my password ??

Or can I use a command to open the OS
