Arrow Linux mint


After installing Linux mint on my desktop, I tried to install Linux samba on it to serve as file sharing purpose. I tried to restart my system all I see is black background with your session only lasted less than 10seconds. please what can I do to solve this kind of error thanks

I'm fairly sure there is more to it than just the error.
As it happens I've had the same problem when I changed some lines in my .profile file.
Check if there's a further description below the error message.

Someone might be able to help you solve the problem if you posted some specific informatin on exactly what you did. You should be able to install Samba from the repositories in the Software Manager/Center or by using the ap-get install command. Installing Samba should not afect booting the system in any way if done correctly.
