linux mint 12 64 bit

mint 12 freezes on install at "Waiting for network configuration". This is on the 64 dvd version.
i have downloaded the 32 bit, also the 64 bit, twice each, from different mirror's but always the same problem, any help will be very much appreciated. thanks.

As I understood from your post that you have downloaded Linux Mint x86_64 and x86 DVDs and you are trying to install it on your computer.

Please provide additional information on which ISO you have (actually) downloaded and which method of installation you are using ?

Have you tried running the mint 12 live dvd rather than doing the install immediately? Also, I noticed that the live dvd freezes if I have any usb storage devices plugged in while I'm testing it. If you have some plugged in, then try unplugging them.
