You either have postfix or sendmail already available to you. Either can be installed and configured on pretty much any version of Linux, and there is ample, easily-found documentation on how to configure it. You don't say what version/distro of Linux you're using, what features you need, how many users, anything about your server, etc.

Since it hasn't been available/updated since 2005, I'd say not. It moved to IceWarp, and is a commercial product.
