Linux Live DVD and Internet with ATT/Yahoo DSL

Hi,

I am planning to but a Live DVD so i wont need to install anything, but i have ATT/Yahoo DSL and i am not sure if my internet will work properly. My config. is saved on the modem and my Belkin router is where my LAN connection comes from so would my internet connect each time i boot on Linux or will i need config the entire eth. each time i boot in Linux.

Thank You Ahead

I have not done this so I don't know how well it works.
If you are using Knoppix, check these links-link 1, link 2.

You're not saying what distro you're trying, but with Ubuntu, once you install it, and set up your connection, it should auto connect when you restart.

Its gonna be different with every distribution, the best way to give you an answer, is for you to list the distro you're wanting to try.
