Yes, you can use 'dd' to copy a hybrid image file to a flash drive. You can look at an excellent LQ post;

dd if=<source> of=<target> bs=<byte size> ("USUALLY" some power of 2, and usually not less than 512 bytes (ie, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, but can be any reasonable whole integer value.) skip= seek= conv=<conversion>
Look at 'man dd' to insure that you understand the options.
Be very careful when supplying the 'if=source' & 'of= target' arguments options since you can mess things up for your system if you have things transposed. Be sure to use the correct devices.
