slackware 13.0


I just downloaded slackware 13.0 on my computer and I have no idea what I'm doing.. I cannot connect to the internet I have a wireless ish adaptor its a linksys wireless b usb adaptor 2.4 ghz 802.11b model # wusb11 ver.2.8 and don't know how to get my wireless internet setup help plzzz..

the answer is #38 post..directly connect it and download that package then install it and run it in the konsole..let me know if you need help

For starters you would need to change your AP's settings something like wpa/wpa2. From there, a wild guess says that there is a setting in wicd. Again I have no experience with it at all.

Just read the manual that came with your router and it should tell you how to enable wpa so you are secure. I don't use your router so I can't tell you how it's done. On my router I can control things from a webpage using 192.168.1.1
