linux installing problem
 
dear memeber,
i have faced problem during partition time at time of linux installing .
i have 20 gb hdd ,in which 10 gb used for windows. when i tried to create / partition of about 3gb it flashes a message out of 1024 boundery.
please help me.

you should spare 1024kb and mount point it to /boot

no not yet solved,
still flashing message oou of 1024 cylinder boundry when try to create "/" partition ,
after creating swap partition of about 512 mb . i have 128 mb ram

ca you tell me how you make a partition, eith fdisk or disk druid
