Talking Linux Installed


I have installed linux and boy does it feel good. But after everything was done i found myself asking what now? i played arorund with it but i know that it is a more powerful tool.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i may do next?
Oh i have install redhat 9.

Congrats on installing Linux. As for "what to do next" I'd just say: Use it! Whatever you were doing in your previous OS, you should be able to do in Linux. Have fun. -- J.W.

What do you need a computer for?
What did you use to do with it before installing linux?

when i first started (not that long ago tbh), i learnt the shell and updated all the software (including the GUI which is tricky!! ). r u using Gnome or KDE btw? o, and get Mozilla Firefox for web browsing

You know you can click on the 'edit' button at the bottom of your posts to fix typing errors or to add or remove text.

I have been using linux for about 3 months now and i am liking the experience so far. It truly is a wonderful operating system.

it is good, and i personally wouldnt consider going back to windows (aka microsucks winblows), but i can definitely see y most people do stick with the bill gates option. linux is far, far more complicated overall, particularly with having to compile a considerable amount of software due to the sheer number of different distros out there. the fact that it has an infinitely better structure and is ultimately far more rewarding doesnt seem to matter to most people

the biggest problem tho is now there are millions of newbie computer users who only know how to use Windows and think that without it, a PC is not complete. shame really...
