Linux Infrastructure and Maintenance..

We have couple of Linux Machine(RHEL,Fedora,CentOS,Ubuntu etc) and Unix Machines like(Opensolaris,HP-UX etc).We need a contralized system which should do the following:

1.set up and manage complex environment
2.Monitoring the complete Machines around the network.
3.Install and maintain OS, application servers, web servers, content components along with detailed documentation describing implementation operational procedures
4.Applying patches,installing packages,
5.configuration management for environments in project dev, test, Stage, production
6. Automatic log rotation.

Any recommended tools for the same?

2. Various tools available; Nagios seems most popular; see here http://www.osalt.com/nagios for others. HP have Openview.
4. for RHEL/Centos you've got yum; if you want a centralised system, see RHEL Proxy Service and/or RHEL Satellite server.
6. RHEL/Centos/Fedora (all Linux ?) have the logrotate service as std.
