Linux Help


I ve seen pictures on the net of people running Xp from linux in a window and i was wondering if someone could explain to me how this works, i know there is wine for linux but i am pretty sure thats just for running win application from linux not accually using both OS from there if you dont know wat i am talking about i could post the images that i ve seen to better get an understanding of what i am trying to do thx.

this could be vmware, or a remote terminal session, among others. a screenshot would make the app more obvious.

btw. this is a linux help forum, it's taken for granted that you want "linux help" please try to use a more useful thread title in future.

sorry bout that this is my first post on these forums.....

so if it was remote terminal you would need another computer accually running the XP that you just remotely login into correct. (unfortunatly i wouldnt be able to do that as i only got one computer)

anyway this is the screenshot i saw taht made me want to find out more information about this.
