In my option you should start off with the LPI level 1 exam if you are new to linux. The LPI is vendor neutral so they don't test you on a specific distro. Here is their website: http://www.lpi.org/

thanks a lot Sir
i visited their site, they do provide certification for LINUX, but, their all test centres are in US, at present m in South Korea, Can you guide me, regarding this

Not sure about testing centers in South Korea, I am in NY. There must be some type of training or testing centers in South Korea? I think there was some pretty big adoption of Linux there last I read.

There's also this: http://certification.comptia.org/linux/

but probably the most respected/well known would be the RedHat ones eg RHCE, although you'd probably want to make sure you can pass the RHCT one first: https://www.redhat.com/training/

Going to this page of the LPI site (accessed by selecting Global Partners and the International Affiliate Groups link from the resulting page) shows they have a partner in Korea, whose website can be found here.
