boot disk

i've found the easyest way so far is to put u're linux install disk back in rebooting and once it boot to disk , u can on some dist type: rescue linux and make a new boot floppy, or by running the install again and skipping though till the make boot disk option

The simplest way is to install a good boot manager to the MBR (i.e., Grub or Lilo). Boot disks are useful in emergency conditions, but are not required for normal operation.

And don't worry, neither Grub nor Lilo intrinsically screw up Windoze !!
