There may be a simpler fix, but this is what I would do if I were in that situation. I'd use some live CD (like Knoppix or Berry Linux) to back up all my important data. Then, I'd just reinstall Fedora from scratch and have it install Grub back to the MBR.

When you say "it doesn't work..." what messages appear? Does the kernel get found and starts to boot, or can grub not find it?

Have the master/slave DIP-pins on the drives been properly adjusted?

When in GRUB, press 'e' to edit teh options, and change all hd1 to hd0, and then bpress 'b' to boot.

I'd try using a liveCD to get a working environment then doing `grub-install /dev/hda` to create an MBR on what used to be the second HDD.

Aha! In your grub.conf, try removing "root=LABEL=Fedora" and replace it with /dev/hda6. GRUB is trying to find the partition labelled Fedora, which of course no longer resides on (hd1,5) but on (hd0,5).
