The Debian Handbook is a good, free book available online. http://debian-handbook.info/
Fedora documentation is excellent, and gives a more Red Hat -like perspective. http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/index.html If you're REALLY new to Linux and want to get to know how to start using it on a daily basis as your primary OS, also refer to http://straightedgelinux.com/switch If you're looking to purchase a book, Wiley Press has a great series of "Linux Bible" books, which are huge tomes full of information. You can find them on Amazon, etc. Also, packt publishing is a good resource for Linux manuals and books as epubs. Good luck, and welcome! |
Ive always like this one: http://www.freesoftwaremagazine.com/...ok_2nd_edition
Especially since on closer inspection the purple cat is actually a left hand giving the middle finger, and there are copies of this everywhere, and no one has noticed. |
That's hilarious.

Assuming the tail is the left thumb. Then its a middle finger.
