Linux based VPS connection Help required.

Hey everyone. I am going to host a server with a linux VPS.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to look and I'm sorry if it's not.

So I have connected to my VPS, I have uploaded the required files but when I want to start the server.

I currently have a Batch file but since those cannot run on Linux I was wondering if anyone could transfer it to shell.

here's the code :

@echo off
title Server
color 0B
"C:/Program Files/Java/jre7/bin/java.exe" -Xmx815m -cp bin;lib/*; com.rs.Launcher true true false
pause

Thanks in advance.

I don't read batch, but it looks lixe an approximation would be:

Code:
#!/bin/sh
echo "off"
java -Xmx815m -cp /path/to/java/bin;/path/to/java/lib com.rs.Launcher true true false
echo "pausing..."
read PAUSE
However, I have no idea what you are trying to do because "So I have connected to my VPS, I have uploaded the required files but when I want to start the server." is not a complete sentence. Explain what you are seeking to achieve, and what you have to work with, and a much more sane answer can probably be provided.
