Unhappy Linux and epson 670


I have a epson 670 connected to my linux box with a parallel cable.

I used printconf-gui to set up my printer, but went I do a test print nothing happends.

I can see the printer on my Win2K box (Using Samba) I am still unable to printer. I am getting a message saying paused next to the printer's name.

I am using Red Hat 7.1.

Could some please help me

check driver
check for ECP mode (in BIOS and device settings)

can you print to the samba share?
