I am sorry michapma I do not have any links to give to you. My personal experiences with my firefox browser ( in the windows OS ) being continually hijacked and disabled led me to an Email discussion with Mr. Modem. I suppose neither of us could prove anything without the direct testimony of officials from either Mozilla or Microsoft. However this is the reason that there have been so many recent versions of the Firefox browser.
