hey could someone help me with 'grep' and 'awk'

man awk and man grep would be a start.

Hi,

Not only specific questions but use a subject title that will aid you along with everyone else the means to understand what you are asking. 'Linux' is not descriptive to your question nor needs.

If you want a 'tutorial' then look at 'Awk' and 'Grep'.

'man' is your friend. 'man' is there to aid you in understanding the commands(s). The two 'man' links are online to aid. If you have 'man' pages then you can always get assistance.
