Linux 6.2 documentation

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and this is my first post here.
I want to install red hat Linux 6.2 on my computer and I quite confused on how to go about it.

Please tell me where can I get documentation on its installation and configuration/administration.

Many thanks in advance.

Call Red Hat that's why you pay them

Or you can use CentOS

Assuming you mean RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.2, you need to buy a support contract aka subscription from RedHat, to obtain updates (v6.x is now at 6.5) and support via phone or email.

Alternately, as above, if you are capable/want to do your own support and get updates for free, replace it with the Centos equiv (Centos is basically a free version of RHEL, without support).

If you mean the original RH6 from many years ago; forget it and get an up to date distro.

Incidentally, lots of free to read manuals www.linuxtopia.org
