Linux [Mint 13] & Windows 7 Transfer to SSD ?
Hey, I plan to upgrade my thinkpad X60 laptop with an SSD, up from the paltry 80GB HDD thats in it right now.
Im currently Dual booting Windows 7 [32Bit] and Linux Mint 13 (cinnamon)[32Bit] off my hard drive, and wish to shove them onto an SSD. There are reasonable guides for windows, and im under the impression that I can use clonezilla or partimage for linux, but what about transferring them both ? I would need some way to re-create the bootloader on the SSD. I also have no idea how to do alignment and stuff. Any help on these matters would be appreciated. Cheers. |
Dont worry, I got the windows bit sorted out. Anybody got any tips as to transfer linux mint 13 onto a new SSD ?
