linpus linux dual boot puppy frugal install
 

hi,

can i make dual- boot to an AAo 11o, with linpus linux ?
i try to install puppy in frugall mode but the config.file,don't respond
when i modified them.(with the tutorial of barry kauler).

did you use the universal installer to install puppy, and what errors do you get when trying to boot puppy in fugal mode? Need to have a puppy431 folder in top directory with the following files in it: vmlinuz, pup-431.sfs, initrd.gz. in your grub need the following entry;
title Puppy Linux 431 frugal
rootnoverify (hd0,0) this assumes puppy431 is on first drive,first partition
kernel /puppy431/vmlinuz pmedia=atahd psubdir=puppy431
initrd /puppy431/initrd.gz

the linpus os is hardly modified by acer!!!
touching "ESC" at boot,don't succed nothing..so in other way you cant' tell to grub nothing.this the great question.
