Linksys WPC11 PCMCIA Wireless
 

Hello:

I am new to Linux and am using Redhat v8 and need to configure my Linksys WPC11. I have downloaded the drivers from both Linksys and the AVS site but I am so clueless about how to follow the specific procedures they list. I thought I was kind of bright but I am just lost. I had no problem setting up a dual boot system with XP and the card works fine but as I said I am lost. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated because I am getting very frustrated.

If its a WPC11 v3, you probably don't need to use the wlan-ng.net drivers... there are TONS of threads about getting this card to work properly with wlan-ng and the orinoco modules, search by "WPC11" and poke around to see where you're stuck. If you can't make anything out of them, post back.
