Linking to multiple linux servers with SSH

Hi all,

Another newbie question!

I have a terminal emulator on my laptop, and 2 servers on my network. I connect to the network externally (network in NJ, working in WI...), and want to use SSH to link to bothe servers. On my router, I have port forwarding to have the SSH standard port (22) to one of the server IP addresses. Tis means I cannot map it to the other. If I use anothe rport number (23 or24), I get a connection refused error.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Robin.

All you need is one hole in the firewall to get inside the local network. Once there, you can ssh from server1 to server2. At work, I have an old pentium as the ssh-in computer. From there, I can ssh to any of the other computers.
