link swap partition from hda to hdb

I got another problem ,it that when I install RH9 I couln't install it with my own pc for that gzlib ,crc comprassion error ( I don't know what is that). So I took out my secondary harddisk and install it in my sister computer. But my sister computer couldn't support two HD at once so I set this one as primary .The installing went smoothly, but when I rejoin in my PC as secondary everything work except for the part that this RH couldn't find swapt partition in HDA3 .Course of it couldn't find it because it tis not in HDA(windowxp) anymore(I thinks). It is in HDB3(again,I think
).So can anyone tell me what seem to be the problem?and of course I got two sound card (on board and sb!live surround sound 5.1).And as everyone would have done it ,I use SB! Live but when I change my primary audio device and make a audio testing,it's working file until I try to open mp3 audio from CD .No sound produce.

help me!!!
thanks!

" tis not in HDA(windowxp) anymore(I thinks).It is in HDB3(again,I think)"

You tell Linux where your partitions are located in /etc/fstab.
Edit /etc/fstab and change the line that says where swap is. Then boot.

For your sound problem look in your BIOS and see if you can disable the motherboard sound chip.

boots disk and bootloader

Thanks man ,I'll fix the file now.I already disable the motherboard sound card but I think the problem is that I read it in somewhere that RH9 does not support mp3 and I have uninstall KDE mulimedia and reinstall it from it's main site.
Could you help me a little bit further please,I want to write bootloader in HDA and make bootdisk too,the one that I made after the installing was corrupt and whenever I need to boot into linux I have to change boot setting in BIOS .Could you please tell me how do I change my bootloader setting and of course make a bootdisk.

Thanks!!!!

"Could you please tell me how do I change my bootloader setting and of course make a bootdisk."

Are you using lilo or grub for a bootloader?

If you are using lilo then you change it by editing /etc/lilo.conf and then running the command:
lilo

If you using grub then you edit the file /etc/grub.conf
In most cases changing /etc/grub.conf is all you need to do. Sometimes you need to also run the command:
grub-install

Installing lilo or grub on a boot floppy is more complicated.

lilo howto:

grub howto:
