LinHes Hard drive dissapears
 

I have done a re-install but I can't get grub to boot.

I am currently using super grub disk to boot but would prefer to fix it.

When I boot the computer without a cd i just get a flashing cursor in the top right of the screen.

Can anyone point me to a simple way to get grub working.

Sounds like you forgot to set the boot flag when you installed; simplest way is to re install, not forgetting to set the boot flag when setting up your partitions; & make sure grub is installed to the mbr.
