Limited understanding Installed Poseidon trying to install makefiles MB systems

Hi folks

I recently installed poseidon 3 on a PC that I used to run windows on. Really the only reason I did this is in order to run a program called MBSystems.

http://www.mbari.org/data/mbsystem/h...ow_to_get.html

I have read a few chapters in a couple of books to try and gain a little understanding on how to get around in this OS. I'm still pretty lost but have managed to bring up the "Konsole" in Poseidon and typed in /usr/local/mbsystem/install_makefiles and at the end is says all done! just before that it says
ls: unable to access makefile.template no such file or directory
ls: unable to access src/makefile.template no such file or directory
ls: unable to access src/*/makefile.template no such file or directory

The next step per the MBSystems web page is to % make all

what is %

Please help before I get out the sledgehammer

Dean

Thanks for the reply.I do not get a % when I hit return but the make all did work. I tried so many different things in so many different places I can't remember what I did LOL Now all I have to do is figure out all the commands for the program.....
