Lilo small problem

Hi,

I have LILO managing my dual boot system (WIN ME, Red HaT 7.1).

Everything is working fine now (Thanks to this forum).

There is an anoying problem with LILO.
I get 3 options in the boot menu:
- Windows
- Linux
- hda1

I've tried unsussefully to remove the hda1 entry since it does't seem to have any purpose.

How can I remove it?
--------------------------
boot="/dev/hda"
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout="50"
message=/boot/message
linear
default=Windows
vga="792"

image="/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.2-2"
label="linux"
read-only
root="/dev/hda2"
append="hdc=ide-scsi"

other=/dev/hda1
optional
label="Windows"

image="/dev/hda1"
root="/dev/hda2"
append="hdc=ide-scsi"
------------------------

Thanks

hpc

You should just be able to remove
Code:
image="/dev/hda1"
root="/dev/hda2"
append="hdc=ide-scsi"
then run
Code:
lilo
from the command prompt to actually make the changes take place.

HTH

Jamie..
