Exclamation lilo/grub


hi
Why lilo configuration files comes in /etc/lilo.conf and grub configuration file comes in the /boot/grub/grub.conf. as i know abt linux all the configuration files comes under the /etc dir.

/etc stores linux configurations, but technically, Grub is independent of the OS, so it's config is stored elsewhere.
That's my guess, anyways.
