Unhappy LILO boot problem

I had everything working fine in my Redhat 7.1.
Until the devil in me wanted to test something, and I changed the

/dev/md1 / readonly.

That is /dev/md1 is my raid device that is usually mounted as / . I changed it to readonly.

My System crashes ever since. I tried passing options on LILO: on the command line, but do not know what to give.

If you need more info - /dev/md1 has /dev/sda5 and /dev/sdb5 as its two components.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Karthik

If you have the bootdisk that redhat asked you to create when you installed, you should be able to use that to get in and fix the problem, I assume in fstab? I believe ro is used for read-only?
