lilo boot issue

i just installed Yoper linux and when i reboot and get to lilo i get the following message:

Loading LinuxEBDA is big; kernel setup stack overlaps LILO second stage

i have no idea what this is but could someone please help?

try booting from your cdrom, at prompt type the following:

boot:  bare.i root=/dev/<your_linux_partition> noinitrd ro
<your_linux_partition> is where you installed linux(ie: hda1,hda2)

then at your linux shell type:

#lilo -v

then reboot..

no.. its still a mess. i think the image for the cdrom might be bad because it complains about being unable to copy some things during install and i've tried reinstalling several times. once i got a complaint about a null pointer when it was copying the kernel cuz it couldnt read something. so i'll just have to download a new copy.... *cries*
