Lilo and Grub don't want to boot Mandrake

Hello. I am a new user. I was installing mandrake 10. Everything was great. For bootloader i put on MBR. After installation when i tried to load. i got this on my screen "0101010101010101010 etc"
I didn't know what to do. I tried to install boot on floppy but Lilo had problem with installing. Just didn't install. I chose grub then. So Grub has been installed on floppy. And when i reboot computer and i insret floppy it says "Grub Hard Disk Error". From the last error i thought somehting with my new Hard Drive. When i used Acronis Disk Director suite to cut partition out for MAndrake. I chose 7 gb and ext2. Thatt didn't solve the problem. Also i tried ext3 that didn't help either.

Please help me. I really want to know Mandrake.
Thank you.

That lilo 0101 error usually occurs when you're trying to boot your system from either the wrong hard drive (if you've got more than one) or the hard drive where you installd lilo to isn't in the BIOS list of devices to check for a boot file.
To recover lilo, insert the Mandrake install CD 1 and when you get the welcome screen press F1. At the boot prompt type: rescue and follow the screens through to reinstall the bootloader. If you want lilo on the MBR then choose that option. When you're done, make sure you go back into your BIOS and change your boot list to include the primary master drive, which is usually HD0.
