Question LICQ x DEBIAN


Hi, i cant install LICQ in Debian 3R2 Kernell 2.4...
apt-get install says its in database but not canditade to install...
so i downloaded it from LICQ home page (rpm package) but i cant install too cause it says something about error...
What i need to do to put it work?

here are the debian packages for i386. here are the packages for all architectures.

and if u want to install a rpm in debian then u have to convert it first into .deb by typing :
alien <package name>

and : alien -i <package name> to convert it then install it
