libtcl.so.0 libtk.so.0 are present but not detected

Hi

I want to install an rpm (sketch) but it doesn't work. It returns that libtcl.so.0 and libtk.so.0 are needed....

I could find manually the files libtcl.so.0 and libtk.so.0 (in /usr/lib) but when I search them with the redhat file finder it doesn't find them.

I've been trying to solve the problem for 5 hours now and I can't find what's wrong. I hope some of you have experience with this problem...

THanks in advance,

aSeedb

that's the usual way:

Note that you can (more or less) always install rpm's from a distro on a different one.
rpm's from different distros are named different and packaged on even different packages.
So in this case, you need those two libraries, and you've got them, BUT rpm will ask for a separate package containing them, because on the distro you took thr rpm from, them are packaged that way.
I that case you can always use the "--nodeps" flag safely.
