LIbstdc++ headers need installed?

I put my cd in and it said it was already installed.... so what do I need to do to install licq for linux? I get htis error after typing ./configure in my terminal.

First of all check wether you actualy have the headers installed or just the main package without the headers. It might read LIbstdc++ as if the headers are included even though they're not.
Then if you are really really sure you have them your might force install (ignoring the dependencies) licq, but be sure of what you're doing if you go on doing that.
You might also try a different package for licq such as one specifically made for your distro or try find a rpm for it.

Can you tell me what this rpm stuff is? How does it work? I got RH8.0

I think it has been explained quite in detail on this forum what a rpm is, so a simple search should provide you with a far better answer than I could give you.

try www.rpmfind.net and http://psyche.freshrpms.net/ for Redhat 8.0 specific rpms. You should be able to find licq in at least one of them.
