libphp5.so not created


hey linux lovers....

i did an source install on php5 and when run apache it states missing libphp5.so

and its not created during make && make install of php5...

whts seems to be the problem and is it something i did in ./configure time...

all i did was ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs

I did the same and it was created fine. Take a look at the install instructions on the php website and you may find this article useful.
