lib updates
 

is there a way i can get every single lib automatically. Cause when i try to install something like ethereal and other programs it says i need a certain libc.

If you're using urpmi (Mandrake) or apt-get (Debian) you can. Which distro? And do you mean lib or libc?

i use redhat i believe its libc

Libc is the basic library, so before upgrading it you should think carefully (it can break many things). Which RedHat version is it and which programs are you trying to install when you get the error?

im using redhat 9 and trying to install ethereal and some other programs i downloaded an update but than it asks for more updates.

you use up2date as root for redhat don't you?
